My name is Fred Fejes and I am a professor of Media Studies at Florida Atlantic University. I attended college at Georgetown, University of Michigan and got my PhD at the Institute of Communication Research at the University of Illinois (Urbana). My areas of expertise are media theory and research, media history and LGBT Studies. I have published a number of books and articles in the area of media research and history and LGBT studies. My goal is to use wikipedia in my classes an also to create a faculty learning community here at my University on the use of wikipedia in the classroom. My school email is fejes@fau.edu
