About Aeon

I've been a member of Wikipedia since August 2005. Most of my work started out in Anti-Vandalism and then branched out into Mediation, AMA work, and also getting into AfD discussions. I do my best to contribute to the articles with minor edits and typo fixes.

I have one sockpuppet (Inactive and will never be used again) that was going to be used for Anti-Vandalism and Minor Edits (Typos and such like Alphachimps Sock). I however abandoned this idea in favor of having all my edits on one account. Don't worry I have no intentions of using said account to violate Wikipedia Policy.

• Template:WikiProject banner shell/doc#Tracking categories
  • interesting tracking categories for conflicting, excess, incorrectly located ... project banners, quality ratings
    • particularly the start & stub class articles w conflicting quality ratings

OH so the project-independent quality assessment means you can tag the *article* as say, C-class, and that will apply the C-class quality to the article across all Projects the article is in/part of/whatever. So like

Article 1

• part of Plants Project
• part of Australian Plants Project
• class = A

Article 2

• part of Australian Plants Project
• class = stub

and not, like

Australian Plants Project rates this article STUB, but Plants Project rates the article A

all editors are encouraged to boldly set quality ratings they believe appropriate (except A and above)

How do I assess an article?

Consult the quality scale above; once you have chosen the level that seems to be closest to the article, go to the article's talk page and set the class parameter in the WikiProject banner template to the level's name (omitting "Class" from the end). For example, to rate an article as "B-Class", use |class=B in the banner.

tools for assessment include rater (User:Evad37/rater) & a gadget to port assessment from talk page to article header (Wikipedia:Metadata gadget)

• Place a stub template at the very end of the article, after the "External links" section, any navigation templates, and the category tags. As usual, templates are added by including their name inside double braces, e.g.
