I'm a former professional photographer and now I run Wonderful Machine, an art production agency based in Penn Valley, Pennsylvania. We produce photo and video shoots for publications, agencies, and brands worldwide.

Upon graduating from Penn State University in 1985, I started my career working as a photojournalist for the Associated Press, The New York Times, and People Magazine. I assisted many photographers including Steven Meisel. I then worked for over 20 years as a freelance photographer for Forbes, Business Week, and Time, as well as for corporations, institutions, and advertising agencies.

In 2023, after noticing that so many Wikipedia pages lacked photos, I started contributing images from my own archive. I also created an online platform called Common History, where anyone can share their historic photos. I have a separate Wikipedia User Account called Common History, where I upload photos from my family photo archive.
