With the rise of social media comes the rise of misinformation, which occurs on apps that parody mainstream media, such as TikTok, Reddit, and X.[1] This is because the world is in a digital era that is plagued by adjustable data, alternative facts, and social media platforms that are at threat of falsehood and misinformation.[2]
