The United Indoor Football Association (UIFA) is a professional developmental indoor football league, one of the several regional professional indoor football leagues in North America. The league plays their games in the Fall as opposed to many leagues playing in the spring and summer. They are based out of Watertown, Wisconsin and feature seven teams in the league according to their official website.[1]

History

[edit]

The UIFA was founded in 2016 and is currently run by team owners Molly Pitney (co-owner of the Ohio Boom) and Lawerance Peters (owner/head coach of the Wisconsin Aviators and current head coach of the Coralville Chaos of American Indoor Football). All teams play there games, home and away, in the Fall season as opposed to most arena/indoor league who play in the Spring and Summer. Teams play in indoor soccer arenas, with the exception of the Iowa Power, who play in an arena, the Five Flags Center.

The most recent championship game of record was on January 28, 2025, with the 2024 UnitedIFA Bowl where the Wisconsin Aviators defeated the Knoxville Bandits 60-39 to win the championship.[2]
