The Faculty was established in June 1960 under founding dean Professor Frank Rundle.[1] It has nine schools:

  • School of Medical Sciences[2]
  • School of Psychiatry[3]
  • School of Public Health and Community Medicine[4]
  • School of Women's and Children's Health[5]
  • Prince of Wales Clinical School[6]
  • Rural Clinical School[7]
  • St George and Sutherland Clinical School[8]
  • St Vincent's Clinical School[9]
  • South Western Sydney Clinical School[10]
