Tryphon breviopetiolaris is a species of parasitic wasp in the family Ichneumonidae,[1][2] in the subgenus, Symboethus.[1]

The species was first described in 1955 by Toichi Uchida.[2][3]

It is found in Japan,[3] and Korea.[1][3]

Partial description

The ovipositor of the female "is distinguished from other Palearctic species of this genus by the short broad ovipositor sheaths and highly decurved ovipositor".[4]
