Thembekile Mandela
Madiba Thembekile "Thembi" Mandela (23 February, 1945 - 1969) was a South African member of the Mandela family. A son of anti-Apartheid activist and future president Nelson Mandela, Thembi Mandela was his father's oldest son.
Thembekile died in a car crash in 1969 while Mandela was in prison. His father was not permitted by the Apartheid authorities to attend his funeral.[1][2][3][4][5]
