Tepeköy (Kurdish: Xerabê Ripin;[2] Syriac: Ḫarābī Rabban)[3] is a village in the İdil District of Şırnak Province in Turkey.[4] The village is populated by Kurds of the Aluwa and Hesinan tribes and had a population of 1,970 in 2021.[1][5]

History

In the Syriac Orthodox patriarchal register of dues of 1870, it was recorded that Ḫarābī Rabban (today called Tepeköy) had twenty-five households that owed dues, of whom three paid.[3] The village also had a church of Morī Barṣawmō.[3]
