This template has multiple issues

[edit]

This template has several issues:

  1. LCF notation is not really a graph data exchange format, but a mathematical notation.
  2. There seems to be ambiguity between NetworkX GML and Graphlet GML formats. See Talk:Graph_Modelling_Language#There_are_TWO_"GML"_languages.
  3. Many notable graph formats are not stated. Eg: graph6/sparse6, JGF, S-Dot, VNA, etc.
See https://gephi.org/users/supported-graph-formats/, it is very comprehensive and useful.
More formats can be learned from Maple's documentation, NetworkX documenation, and other graph processing libraries/software.

Re the unlisted entries: see WP:WTAF. We can list them once there are articles for them. The same goes for GML: if we need two separate articles on two GML languages, that can be handled by making two separate articles. It is an issue with the articles, not with the template that lists them. —David Eppstein (talk) 19:18, 27 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
