Additions without verifiable, reliable sources will be removed without warning. Additions must have some notability beyond just having their own web site. This should be an independent, reliable source.

Please do not add AMA, CMA, or FIM sanctioned motorcycle riding clubs here, but rather add them to List of motorcycle clubs, which does not include outlaw clubs and other motorcycle clubs/ groups/membership organizations.

Note to admin: this is virtually the same as the comments at the top of the article. It has been an ongoing magnet for problem entries. Brianhe (talk) 20:50, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The notice still doesn't seem to be discouraging random addition of uncited entries on List of outlaw motorcycle clubs. Can we get it amplified in some way, maybe red text??

Yes that might help. Fewer words would also help, since I don't think anybody wants to read. We could delete the second paragraph, since non-outlaw clubs haven't been a problem, just unsourced outlaw clubs. --Dennis Bratland (talk) 20:53, 19 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It should be as simple as possible. Even then I don't think a lot of them will read it.

Or bullet points:

New clubs on this list must have:
  • Some notability
  • Citations of reliable sources
  • Just a website, charter, or patch is not enough
  • They will be removed without warning
