  • The hook as currently written may require knowledge about Evangelion and Gunbuster, and thus may not appeal to non-anime fans (and thus a general audience). Can more broadly interesting hooks, those that are not as reliant or even not reliant on specialist information, be proposed here? Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 01:12, 3 March 2025 (UTC)
Will take when I've eaten; I intend on proposing a trimmed ALT1a.--Launchballer 15:07, 14 March 2025 (UTC)
@Z. Patterson and Narutolovehinata5: Long enough, new enough. Earwig is clean and QPQ is unnecessary. I just copyedited this and binned a large amount of cruft and unencyclopedic content including from the lead which probably ought to be reexpanded with surviving content, though this isn't a DYK issue (but should be). If you're alright with the trimmed and reworded ALT1a: ... that a character from Gunbuster popularized arm fold commonly seen in anime?, I'll approve this.--Launchballer 17:27, 14 March 2025 (UTC)
@Launchballer and Narutolovehinata5: Yes, I accept your suggestion. Z. Patterson (talk) 00:53, 15 March 2025 (UTC)
Let's roll. (I should have asked for an end-of-sentence citation, but I just put that in myself.)--Launchballer 13:31, 15 March 2025 (UTC)
