Overall: Interesting article! Possibly a nitpick, but I genuinely don't know if the stills themselves were illegal, or just the alcohol produced with them. Is there a cite for them being illegal, or could the hook be changed to something like "helped make stills so farmers could manufacture illegal alcohol"?
