Cornelius Pass Road
- ... that Cornelius Pass Road, a major arterial connecting the suburbs of Portland, Oregon, was built in the late 19th century ?

passing ALT1.The article was nom the day after promotion to GA status. Article is obvs long enough, neutral and well-sourced. The hook is cited in the article (fn 14) and well within length at only 123 chars. There are no close paraphrasing issues (names, titles and quotes throw up the usual false positives). Hook is probably interesting, as while it's just a road, it's an old road. QPQ not required, lucky you. GTG. Serial (speculates here) 19:41, 22 January 2025 (UTC)

- that mudslides caused temporary one-way traffic on Cornelius Pass Road on three seperate occasions?
- that tech company Intel funded part of Cornelius Pass Road?

- Despite the Good Article status, this appears to just be a typical road. No matter how many times a mudslide happens on a road, it isn't interesting. Roads always need funding so the next hook isn't interesting as well. SL93 (talk) 23:54, 17 March 2025 (UTC)

- @TheTechie, Rusalkii, SL93, and Tenpop421: I was checking the sources and I couldn't see where exactly is it stated that Intel funded the Cornelius Pass Road. I can see they funded an interchange and other roads, but I can't seem to see if it was the Cornelius Pass Road they specifically funded. - Hmm, I was just pulling from the article, but let's see. [1] has "The city, county, state, and Intel are going to ... help pay for ... a redesign of the interchange at US 26 and Cornelius Pass Road". I'm not sure if one can say that they funded part the road, but I don't think the hook will suffer from rephrasing to say that they helped fund an interchange on (of? I am not sure how the grammar works here exactly) the road. (And re: interestingess, I definitely went "huh!" when I read that fact in the article and would probably click it on the main page, private companies in the US funding roads strikes me as pretty surprising though perhaps I am simply poorly informed) Rusalkii (talk) 19:42, 18 March 2025 (UTC)
