This page has been created from elements of golf club (equipment), based on a suggestion that that article was too long. The process of moving this information is not complete, and this page will require cleanup before it meets WP's standards. In particular, the page needs references and footnotes, and should be expanded to give a short history of the development of the modern wood. Images highlighting specific points made in the text are welcome, particularly comparative images of traditional versus modern woods.
- I have a pretty extensive collection of clubs, I can provide some pictures within a few days of some of them. I have modern, old, and some oddities too. Anyone else wants to help, that would be great. ReignMan (talk) 07:17, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
