Oppose: Per WP:GNG, the March Western Syria clashes have received sufficient coverage from independent and reliable sources, and while the text in those articles shares overlap with this one, the event itself (the uprising) is significant enough to warrant a separate article. If those articles share duplicated text, they probably could just be reworded. Asclepias tuberosa (talk) 01:02, 2 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Strong oppose but declare the march clashes and escalation in severity are over. Not only did a major operation happen but a massacre as well there is 0 reason to merge them. Yesyesmrcool (talk) 22:37, 21 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose merge with massacre article, which is its own, one-sided abuse against civilians. But it can be argued that the December clashes and the later ones are continuous. FunkMonk (talk) 16:21, 5 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Why does this page say nothing about the massacre of thousands of Alawite civilians perpetrated by jihadists? Is there an attempt to cover up the largest massacre of the war in Syria? Skr561 (talk) 19:37, 6 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
