Army/Navy electronics designation

By the time the RCDC was developed, the Joint Electronics Type Designation System was pretty well established. Systems like RCDC would normally be given a JETDS AN/ designation as they were fielded. Does anyone have a reliable source that states reasons RCDC didn’t, or alternative sources as to what JETDS designation it had?
