Lead
[edit]@Chiswick Chap:: Sorry, I just noticed that the lead has some information that is not repeated in the body: "consisting of vertebrae and intervertebral discs" and "The vertebrae are irregular bones, and the intervertebral discs are of fibrocartilage.". Just remove, or add something to the body? Jens Lallensack (talk) 10:57, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
- Remove, it's not needed, specially in the lead. Chiswick Chap (talk) 10:59, 9 December 2024 (UTC)

Adding The Name Parameter "Vertebrates"
[edit]I think we should add a name parameter to the taxobox and name it as "Vertebrates". Jako96 (talk) 11:15, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
- It appears that it is not required by the automated gadget. When I view the article I already see "Vertebrate" in large boldface at the top of the taxobox. The gadget is evidently picking this up from the article title. All the best, Chiswick Chap (talk) 11:48, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
- Then why in pages like Chordate we use a name parameter for this? aLl tHe bEsT, Jako96 (talk) 17:41, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
- It's likely redundant there too, per WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. Chiswick Chap (talk) 17:46, 9 May 2025 (UTC)
- I think we should make a standard for these. Jako96 (talk) 11:04, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
- Good luck with that. The current infobox gadget works correctly and uses the minimum of user-input data to achieve its result, so in the immortal words of the prophet, it's not broken and doesn't need fixing. Chiswick Chap (talk) 11:23, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
- Well, okay then. What do you think about the page Chordate, by the way? Jako96 (talk) 11:46, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
- I've seen worse. Chiswick Chap (talk) 11:48, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
- Okay. Jako96 (talk) 11:56, 10 May 2025 (UTC)
