AC Shadows contributions
[edit]Since this was a point of content in the recent days, I just want to add here that Ubisoft Leamington did indeed work on AC Shadows, as documented in the credits. IceWelder [✉] 21:06, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for that, much appreciated. They've also now been extracted onto Moby Games as a further source of proof: https://www.mobygames.com/game/239204/assassins-creed-shadows/credits/xbox-series/?autoplatform=true 86.1.196.187 (talk) 09:41, 14 April 2025 (UTC)

I'd like to add Assassin's Creed Shadows back to the list of developed games Ubisoft Leamington worked on, following its removal last week, now that there are multiple sources confirming the same thing. The credits have been extracted onto Moby games, as well as videos on YouTube from the game credits, and posts by confirmed employees on LinkedIn stating that Ubisoft Leamington worked on the game.
Please see the below from the Talk section on this page:

- I am not questioning that they are in the credits, but the thing with most Ubisoft AAA games is that all of the Ubisoft studios typically get involved to a small degree though the main credits for the game are held with one main studio and maybe one or two other Ubisoft studios that do additional work. The work done by the remaining Ubisoft studios is usually minor. Further, specifically for Shadows, we have a list of support studios that has been reported, eg [1] (listed before Leamington's closure) so while they're in the credits that does suggest their work was very minor on this game not to have been in that list.
- Also, neither Moby Games nor LinkedIn can be used for sourcing. Both are user-generated sources so we have to be very careful with those. And checking around a few other Ubisoft games, and the notable studios, we usually do not seem to include this minor work in the other studio's pages (like with Ubisoft Montpellier) Masem (t) 12:14, 15 April 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for your answer. What I would say in response is that levels of contribution for all studios in the credits are at best a guess, and through that we shouldn't negate a contribution when we have "Development Team Ubisoft Leamington & Ubisoft Reflections" clearly listed in the credits. An omission from this page doesn't make sense in that regard, especially given the list of 'Games Developed' isn't about being the lead studio, it's about having any contribution at all.
- Skylanders, Call of Duty Ghosts, Skull & Bones are prime examples of this. For the latter example, many of the names in the Shadows credits are the same in Skull & Bones, and that is included on the page, which then makes sense to also add AC Shadows.
- Perhaps the answer is to change the section heading from 'Games Developed' to 'Credited Titles'? 86.1.196.187 (talk) 07:46, 16 April 2025 (UTC)
