This page is ridiculous  ! It links to Layer, which is another disambiguation page. But I don't know what else that it can be linked to. Help? Zeratul En Taro Adun!So be it. 20:50, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Linking to Étagère may provide value.

Cf. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Tier&diff=1288706656&oldid=1288574243, @Laterthanyouthink: I may very well have misunderstood WP:DAB, but it did take me a while to find "tier"'s meaning in the sense of étagère, which has a Wikipedia page. Said "tier" lemma isn't found in every dictionary; I think, adding the reference to Wikipedia would provide value. Or should one but add the lemma to https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/tier? Hi Jonathan Frech - well that led me on a fact-finding mission! I had not heard of that term but I have now educated myself, added more content to both the étagère and cake stand pages, and added them to the DAB page, sectioned it a bit more, and also got rid of some other terms that didn't belong there because they had no mention in the target articles. Thanks for your contributions! Possibly should be added to Wiktionary, but I'm not as familiar with that platform so may return to that later. While I agree with your "Physical levels ; Tier, a level or shelf in an étagère" classification, I think "tier" itself can refer to an entire étagère, which is the meaning I originally wanted to add to the disambiguation list.
