Timey wimey, wibbly wobbly
[edit]Paragraph about DuPont Nylon followed by French "The next step was taken" ... in the 19th century in France. I've taken out the "nest step was taken" part because it is clearly backward from 1935 ff. 2600:1700:1C64:8240:18B4:B82E:69B7:96B9 (talk) 19:04, 17 July 2025 (UTC)

- I think that the two paragraphs in the section "The first synthetic fibres" are awkwardly juxtaposed. The first nylon is described as being developed in 1935, but then immediately afterwards the paragraph describing events in the 1870s begins with "The next step was taken". The next step from nylon was synthetic silk? I don't have an obvious solution to this other than throwing out the first paragraph entirely. -- Reconrabbit 20:38, 18 July 2025 (UTC)
