Justin K Thompson 82.14.222.80 (talk) 19:51, 18 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"Justin K. Thompson" is not linked in this article because the current redirect, Justin K. Thompson, points directly back to this article, and a full article has not yet been made about this subject. Trailblazer101 (talk) 21:09, 18 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Add in the possible rumour of BTSV getting mostly scrapped due to creative decisions

[edit]

Here’s the link for you to add in the “sequel” section https://variety.com/2024/film/news/beyond-the-spider-verse-chris-miller-denies-sony-cut-spider-man-film-1236139851/ as right now nothings been scrapped being another update on BTSV 2605:B100:535:C40:7070:D9B:1235:A274 (talk) 14:18, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia isn't the place for rumours, wait until anything is confirmed. Indagate (talk) 14:29, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The reports pertaining to this are adequately covered at the draft for this film, Draft:Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, though, they should not be included here as to not put WP:UNDUEWEIGHT in this article. Trailblazer101 (talk) 16:14, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
but variety says that here https://variety.com/2024/film/news/beyond-the-spider-verse-chris-miller-denies-sony-cut-spider-man-film-1236139851/ 70.48.81.250 (talk) 02:27, 27 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
In the grand scheme of things, this report ultimately will not be relevant to this article as we know it is being made and that it is planned to get a new release gate eventually. The draft and eventually article is sufficient and adequately covers this content as needed. Trailblazer101 (talk) 04:34, 27 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I was wondering why is the movie included under 2023 LGBTQ related films. So far, Gwen for example has not been said to be trans. So why is this category included if her story is an allegory so far. Any reasons why? ShadowSJG (talk) 07:24, 15 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I believe that category was added because of the mass commentary surrounding the iconography displayed in the film, which played a factor in it not being released in certain regions of the world, so some may have deemed it a defining enough aspect, even if minuscule in the film itself overall. I would support removing that category so long as the LGBTQ-related controversies cats remains for the release removals alone. Trailblazer101 (talk) 07:34, 15 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I have now removed the cat, seeing as there has been no opposition to doing so. Trailblazer101 (talk) 20:04, 28 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Add the Disney plus USA release on home media

[edit]

It just got confirmed 74.14.134.105 (talk) 22:43, 16 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Right here https://movieweb.com/spider-man-across-the-spider-verse-stream-disney-plus-release-date/ 74.14.134.105 (talk) 19:52, 17 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
While MovieWeb is already a less than adequate source given recent WP:VALNET concerns and WP:FRUIT issues, I have added the information citing a more reliable source. Trailblazer101 (talk) 20:19, 17 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
But where is into the SpiderVerse, it’s stuck on Fubo and not on Disney+ in the USA 74.14.134.105 (talk) 18:16, 19 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
And still on FX 74.14.134.105 (talk) 18:24, 19 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
As I have explained to you before, this is WP:NOTAFORUM for you to ask general questions about these films. You can search the internet for that. We do not have all the answers for you. Trailblazer101 (talk) 02:51, 20 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
