[edit]This article has clearly been translated from the German 'Service-Management', but I'm not at all convinced that we use the term in this way in English. It's obviously been translated by a German, who has erroneously assumed that the German anglicism has the same meaning in English. (Spoiler alert: they very often don't. Source: I'm a German translator.) It contains for example such nuggets as "ISO/IEC 20000 is the internationally acknowledged for service management. [sic]", whereas ISO 20000 is actually IT service management. Well-meaning German's need to stop clogging up the English wikipedia with crap like this. 2A02:C7E:2E25:D200:509:CDA1:5CC8:98AE (talk) 19:50, 2 August 2025 (UTC)
