Contradiction in lead
[edit]noted for his opposition to anti-evolutionism within the American Scientific Affiliation (ASA), and for his advocacy of progressive creationism.
This makes no sense - he is either a creationists or an evolutionist. He can't be both opposed to anti-evolutionism and an advocate of progressive creationism. Jezhotwells (talk) 17:49, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Leading the ASA away from its antievolutionist stance were … Russell L. Mixter and J. Frank Cassel, who did for biology what Kulp was doing for geology.

It appears that whilst "leading the ASA away", he 'got off the train' before it went all the way to Theistic Evolution (as did a number of others of the more conservative wing of the ASA). The wording is clumsy, I know. I'll try to think of better. HrafnTalkStalk(P) 18:33, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
