The Lions drafted him in the third round of the 1946 draft,[1] and played in 1946, the first of a four-year career with the Lions.[2] They must have really liked him to use a second-round pick to draft him again in 1947[3] even though he was already on the team. --DB1729^talk 13:12, 19 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
