The article on the dog tick has an important error. I do not know how to fix it so I list it here.
The American Dog tick, according to the CDC at http://www.cdc.gov/ticks/diseases/rocky_mountain_spotted_fever/faq.html#whatis
is implicated as a vector of Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, the most deadly human tick borne disease in the USA. Since dogs are ubiquitous in the US, this makes the dog tick a potential primary vector of the disease, not "unimportant" as implied in the article.
