Removed Template for deletion

The request for deletion was clearly unsubstantiated. Beside the fact that even the name was spelled wrongly all the motivation reported were not true. The Tool is actively used in the community so much that there are people explicitly citing it in papers and it even won an award in 2021 for being still useful to the community. The sources you added do not address the concerns raised in my PROD. A typo in spelling is irrelevant to notability. While I cannot read every article mentioning qutemol, those that I read before my PROD and now after your comment only mention qutemol in passing, e.g. that it was used to generate an image. Per WP:GHITS, I did not consider the number of recent hits in google scholar to be an indication of notability. The award in 2021 is the only source that establishes any notability, and I would still consider it weak given the award is given by the publisher of the original article and is not fully independent from the primary source.

This was and is not close to vandalism. Reasonable people can have differing opinions on notability and whether an article should be deleted. Anonrfjwhuikdzz (talk) 02:38, 26 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
