Recent edits concerning the number of fatalities

    [edit]

Survivors who died after the shooting in unrelated events, such as a car accident or from apparently natural causes, are not counted among the fatalities. The number of the dead is 50. Full stop. - Shearonink (talk) 16:34, 15 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, unless reliable sourcing says otherwise. It is worth noting that after the 2017 Las Vegas shooting, two additional victims were added in 2020 as they were found to have died from injuries related to the shooting. ♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 16:42, 15 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, of course. But in this particular case, an editor is repeatedly adding survivors' deaths that occurred in unrelated events (and, in their frustration, they are now using really colorful language in their edit summaries)... - Shearonink (talk) 16:51, 15 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Neither of these deaths [1][2] relate to the shooting, only to people who survived Pulse and died at a later date in an unrelated manner. If this is added again, it will be seen as disruptive editing.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 17:12, 15 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
