Challenging sentence
[edit]@GorgeCustersSabre: thanks for your efforts to copy editing the article but about this sentence "In his letter, Ali asked the people of Egypt to follow the direction of Malik, whom he described as being far from weakness, mistake and laziness." I prefer to remove it. I campare this two sources (1 and 2) a part of the adventure has been missed! Imam wrote two letter, one for Malic and another for other commander and the sentence that you nominated it is seen in the letter that Imam wrote to another commander, but the exact name of the commander is unknown. So this sentence is not referred to people. Saff V. (talk) 06:14, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
Imam Ali's letter to the United Nations
[edit]Hello, according to my research on Imam Ali's letter, it has been revealed that this letter has reached the United Nations and only part of it has been registered by most international countries. For example, look at this example in the UN press:
Imam Ali, the fourth Khalifa after Prophet Muhammed, instructed the governor of Egypt to rule with mercy and tolerance towards all his subjects: (Let the dearest of your treasuries be the treasury of righteous action... Infuse your heart with mercy, love and kindness for your subjects. Be not in the face of them a voracious animal, counting them as easy prey, for they are of two kinds: either they are your brothers in religion or your equals in creation.)"
