Looking again, a slightly broader target might be better: Monoamine releasing agent. The reason for this is that the ATS article focusses on chemical derivatives of the parent compound alpha-methylphenethylamine, and there might be Norepinephrine–dopamine releasing agents that are not of this chemical class. Oppose: I was the one who initially proposed a possible merge of norepinephrine–dopamine releasing agent and amphetamine-type stimulant since they are almost the exact same thing (with the exception of rare peripherally selective NDRAs like tyramine which are sympathomimetics but not psychostimulants). I think the amphetamine-type stimulant article should be merged and adapted into the norepinephrine–dopamine releasing agent article. I wouldn't support a merge of the norepinephrine–dopamine releasing agent article into the monoamine releasing agent article on the other hand. If the content of the amphetamine-type stimulant article focuses specifically on amphetamines and excludes other NDRAs, then that content could be modified. All NDRAs are closely structurally related to each other anyway, even if they may not always technically be amphetamines. – AlyInWikiWonderland (talk, contribs) 05:14, 27 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
