Names are not everything

[edit]

@Mark viking, unfortunately the three sources you added have nothing to do with the topic of this page, which is on materials "containing large numbers of parallel hollow channels". All the sources you added discuss single channels, i.e. pipettes, which are different. Sorry, those sources are irrelevant, a coincidental use of the name. Please remove them or I will either remove them or mark them as irrelevant. I will move to AfD if you are still opposing the PROD --you could reinstate it. Courtesy ping of @Bearian who did a PROD2. N.B., this material should not be confused with Anodic aluminium oxide which has been around for almost a century. Ldm1954 (talk) 13:16, 31 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The articles I added are reviews about nanochannels formed in glass, which is also the topic of the article. Nanochannel arrays in glass are one kind of material that makes use of nanochannels in glass, but they are not the only one, or even the most notable one. The article has a balance problem, but the topic of glass nanochannels is notable. Please remove your irrelevant tags. If you want to make this article about nanochannel arrays in glass, you would first need to find review articles about such materials and change the title to reflect the array aspect. --{{u|Mark viking}} {Talk} 18:59, 31 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You are changing the article to pipettes, which is not what it was; I quoted the lead. Ldm1954 (talk) 19:08, 31 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
