Merger from Panini (sandwich)

Oppose – Two completely different sandwiches, even though they share Italian origins. As I mentioned in the last AfD, in Brazil (especially in the state of São Paulo) it is very traditional, incorporated into the culture like pizza perhaps is in New York. See some sources ([1], [2]). Article name

I'll wait until the merge request is closed, but I'll be opening a Move Request to rename this article from Mortadella sandwich (Brazilian version) to Mortadella sandwhich. It's unnecessary to disambiguate "Mortadella sandwich" as there is currently no other page that is also referred to as "Mortadella sandwich". I think a good compromise (as to WP:DABLINK) would be to include a hatnote on the page that says "This page is about the Brazilian sandwich. For other sandwiches containing mortadella, see ...". I am open to suggestions as to what should be included at ... as I'm not sure what a good target would be. BaduFerreira (talk) 16:57, 1 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
