As per my hidden comment, here is the relevant info from the article on Tiara Dews...

"Four years ago, Dews's 9-year-old daughter, Tiara, presented the president with roses when he visited Georgia Avenue.

Since then, Tiara has had her share of challenges; last year, in a Columbia Heights alley, two men sicked a pit bull on her and a 13-year-old friend after the girls refused their demands to disrobe. Tiara's friend was mauled.

"It has been really tough," said Tiara, now 14. She said she was surprised when White House officials called her at home after the incident. Clinton "writes me every month, he sends cards during the holidays, and after I was on television, his secretary called and asked was I all right," she said.
