Wrong line "closed" ?

Isn't this bit wrong ?

the connection at Methley to the L&YR was closed from 27 March 1967, leaving only the route to the former NER line

Shouldn't that be round the other way ? All my rail atlases and OS maps of the 70s show the line (then) from Newmarket colliery making a junction with the ex L&Y at Lofthouse Junc, not Methley NE junc. 46.208.13.32 (talk) 18:25, 8 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
