Why Mahtob?

مهتاب is transliterated as Mahtab (the secand a is a long vowel). But Mahtob is its Tajik pronunciation. Aminabzz (talk) 11:43, 1 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The sentence "Since Sayyed was Iranian by birth, he legally had complete custody of Mahtob." Could perhaps be clarified that this was only within Iran/the Iranian legal system. The subject of the page is an American citizen and in the context of her life and story such clarification is both relevant and more respectful.
