Why Mahtob?
[edit]مهتاب is transliterated as Mahtab (the secand a is a long vowel). But Mahtob is its Tajik pronunciation. Aminabzz (talk) 11:43, 1 October 2023 (UTC)
Legal custody
[edit]The sentence "Since Sayyed was Iranian by birth, he legally had complete custody of Mahtob." Could perhaps be clarified that this was only within Iran/the Iranian legal system. The subject of the page is an American citizen and in the context of her life and story such clarification is both relevant and more respectful. Iranian fathers in the US (and elsewhere) did not have complete custody of their children in this timeframe. 2401:D005:F800:7800:6C82:EB06:FAEA:B290 (talk) 10:09, 28 February 2025 (UTC)
