"Do It Again"
[edit]I thought it was common knowledge that the song's hook was consciously based on the Beach Boys' "Do It Again", but I can't find any sources that corroborate.--Ilovetopaint (talk) 03:00, 21 July 2017 (UTC)
paul hanley...
[edit]....he late of the fall, has written a book about the music scene in the north-west of england, & in particular the studios that were the first to offer professional recording services outside of london. one of these was strawberry in stockport, where this song was recorded. seven years later, in exactly the same place, joy division recorded "love will tear us apart".
I can't think of a wiki-legal way to put this into the article. :-/
