Nun cho ga
[edit]- He said it might be the best-preserved specimen found in North America and could even surpass Lyuba, a female woolly mammoth calf found in Siberia in 2017 almost intact but missing a tail.
If true this would change the description of Lyuba here and in that article. Nun cho ga has a tail while Lyuba does not, yet Lyuba is described as most complete speciman. -- GreenC 05:09, 3 July 2022 (UTC)
Discrepancies in age of remains
[edit]Is anyone able to resolve these?
Adams mammoth: this article gives 35,800. Its own WP article does not give an age; 1 of its 3 sources gives 36,000-37,000, other 2 are unavailable to me.
Malolyakhovsky Mammoth (Buttercup): this article gives 28,610. 1 of its 3 sources gives 40,000. No WP article.
Yuka mammoth: this article gives 34,300. Its own WP article gives 39,000.
Sopkarga Mammoth (Zhenya): this article gives 43,350. Its own WP article and this article's reference both give 48,000, so this article's table entry appears incorrect.
