Notability

A recent contrib "[a]dded {{notability}} tag to article" without any further explanation. As I feel the topic of this article is very relevant to the Latter Day Saint movement and has significant notability within that context, I'm opening this conversation to see what other thoughts are out there on this. -- 208.81.184.4 (talk) 21:20, 13 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The vast majority of the listed people are non-notable. Red-linked, without appropriate refs per wp:listpeople reflecting their level of notability. There is not indication in the article whatsoever that this is a list of notables. An alternative to tagging would be to have a deletion discussion, or perhaps a merge discussion.
