Why no Cilician Catholicoi?

[edit]

Is there any particular reason why the catholicoi from 1058 to 1441 are not listed here, but rather on Armenian_Catholicos_of_Cilicia? I understand why there is a second page for the latter, since they are currently two separate institutions, but weren't the Cilician Catholicoi universally recognized as head of the Armenian church before 1441? --Jfruh 15:26, 16 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling/Orthography

[edit]

The orthography used for most of these names is the Soviet version. This is an anachronism that needs to be addressed. Someone with the wherewithal needs to change these to the proper Mesropian spelling. Thank you.

Arsacids? Aren't they Gregorids?

[edit]

I know the family is from Partha. But they are a branch of the House of Suren and after Christianisation of Armenia Gregory started his own dynasty - Gregorids. I don't know if Arsacids make any sense here...
