Merge proposal

I propose merging List of defunct airlines of Lebanon into List of airlines of Lebanon. As there is only one active airline and a number of defunct airlines of the country, it would be best to have both the active and defunct airlines listed in the same article. Oppose, having followed the discussion at AfD and initially being in favor of the merging, now after reviewing the broader category of articles both fall into List of (defunct) airlines of XXXXX, it would make more sense for them to be separate. There's significantly more defunct airlines in Lebanon which would provides the notability for a stand-alone article, and the fact that there's only one - for now - active airline doesn't make that article non-noteworthy IMO. - Epluribusunumyall (talk) 00:47, 8 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
