2023 Census Estimates

not sure if im doing this right but the like map showing the top 10 most populous cities says san jose is the 10th most, which doesnt match the list at all 73.202.1.130 (talk) 23:23, 20 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The map shows the 2020 census figures, while the table is sorted by the 2023 estimates. San Jose is 10th in 2020, but 13th in 2023.. Indyguy (talk) 03:27, 21 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There is 2025 estimates on https://www.worldpopulationreview.com/
Fort Worth, Austin, Jacksonville, should be updated in ranks (top 15) and all populations should change. Frozen31 (talk) 23:57, 25 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Worldpopulationreview is not a very accurate/reliable source of population estimates. This page uses the US Census Bureau's annual estimates. The 2024 municipal estimates will be released either at the beginning of April or May of this spring. Until then, we should leave the list alone and have them all updated once those estimates are released (even though some of them can since they are coterminous with their counties). I'm wondering if we might update the map and use a format that's more easily updated in the future (rather than creating a new base map with the city markers). I'm suggesting the map below. Thoughts/comments are welcome!
