Does anyone know where the pre-NCAA tournament timeline is sourced from? I'd like to research and potentially create an article for the Springfield College team but haven't been able to find any information about its existence. Mushh94 (talk) 22:00, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Future teams should be confirmed

The "future teams" section should really only be for teams that are confirmed to officially be adding hockey. For example, Simon Fraser and Binghamton have been teasing adding hockey for many years now, but that doesn't consititue adding to the "future teams" section. Talks have essentially fizzled out at both schools and they have said it's likely not happening any time soon.

There are usually a handful of teams that tease adding hockey every year. Schools should not be adding to that section unless they have officially announced they are adding a team. Otherwise, it becomes very unreliable since talks about adding hockey usually don't actually lead to adding hockey Tomhol811 (talk) 21:18, 28 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
