Converted page to be a full list of Australian players

Previously it was split into 10+ games, 4-9 games, 2-3 games and 1 game for some reason. Making it not really giving enough information if you wanted to see every player to play for Australia, particularly by order of cap number. I have changed this to include every player, while also adding cap numbers which gives the option to sort by cap number.

While it is a big page, with 643 entries into the table now, it makes a lot more sense this way, and provides better information. It also brings it into a similar structure to list pages like Australian test cricketers, and frankly most lists. It just makes sense.

I suggest deleting the 4-9, 2-3 and 1 game pages and using this as the sole page for this bit of information. Matt jobe watson (talk) 15:00, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Matt - the list of Australian players is missing #52 Eric 'Hec' Gorring - but I don't have the necessary skill to edit this complicated page - I'm hoping you can do it (please)

Football Australia statistician Andrew Howe has provided this information for Gorring:

One cap vs NZ - 05 June 1933 - he was a forward, and scored two goals in that match (he also played six 'B' matches against New Caledonia teams in August 1933)

PS: In case you are not aware, #51A Angus Gibb (1933 team) was added after he was overlooked in the original list, as he was confused with #1 Alec Gibb (manager of that 1933 team) Peter Eedy (talk) 07:41, 17 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again Matt - Andrew Howe asked me if some others were missing - I reviewed the list and found several of the first 100 players were missing (I stopped there)
