Oppose for now. Just because an article on the basketball player was created today doesn't mean the soccer player is automatically no longer the WP:primary topic, especially in a WP:ONEOTHER situation. Comment Should the basketball article have even been created? Doesn't pass Wikipedia:NBASKETBALL. Majority of college players aren't regularly notable, unless they're a likely soon to NBA draft/professional player. RedPatch (talk) 18:47, 18 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't intend to sound US-centric. Just used it as a guideline for where GNG is usually meant to exist. He did play professionally, but minimally 15 minutes total per this. I known many articles are being deleted for such players, unless GNG can be proven. So far all the sources in the article only have trivial mentions (made an appearance, scored a basket).
