The result of the move request was: Moved to John Dunning (detective fiction author) — Amakuru (talk) 17:29, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
John Dunning (writer) → ? – Current title is ambiguous with John Dunning (true crime author). Listing here to find the preferred solution. PC78 (talk) 16:51, 26 March 2019 (UTC) --Relisting. Iffy★Chat -- 15:02, 3 April 2019 (UTC)
- Support John Dunning (detective fiction author). Both John Dunnings have written about crime. The true crime author apparently wrote solely non-fiction, while the detective fiction author writes both fiction and non-fiction and is also a renowned historian of old-time radio. I would thus also support an alternative suggestion — John Dunning (radio historian) or even John Dunning (writer, born 1918) and John Dunning (writer, born 1942) for both authors. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 17:56, 26 March 2019 (UTC)
- I've added {{distinguish}} hatnotes to each article, which will probably need to stay no matter what, if anything, happens here. Station1 (talk) 18:41, 3 April 2019 (UTC)
