Note that his preferred spelling appears to be "Cheong Hyungsik". However, per WP:KOREANNAME, WP:COMMONNAME can take precedence over personal preferred spelling. It has to be overwhelming though. I haven't looked into whether the spelling is overwhelmingly more common. Just noting. seefooddiet (talk) 06:44, 1 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Jeong Hyeong-sikCheong Hyungsik – Per WP:KOREANNAME, there does not appear to be a clear consensus per WP:COMMONNAME among English-language sources with regards to the romanization of his name as "Jeong Hyeong-sik" (See [2], [3], [4], [5]) or "Cheong Hyungsik" (See [6], [7], [8], [9]). Given the lack of clear consensus, my change recommends using the official spelling of his name as listed on the English version of the Constitutional Court's official website.
