Regarding the introductory section.

Two points and a comment:

1) The Honored Matres represent a threat to the Old Empire, not to humanity in general. Indeed they are on the run from an adversary out in the Scattering.

2) The events of Heretics of Dune take place within the Old Empire, and do not encompass the entirety of Humanity.

Comment: the second paragraph of the introductory section of the Wikipedia page on Heretics of Dune can be taken to imply the Honored Matres are a threat to humanity in general

Can the intro section be amended to include the information that the area of interest is the Old Empire and not the species? I thought to edit it unilaterally would be presumptuous. Perhaps this idea is worthy of consideration though. 75.152.119.25 (talk) 20:09, 13 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
