Death
[edit]The article states that de Vincennes died in Arkansas, while the historical marker featured in the photograph claims that his place of death was in Fulton, Tennessee. Perhaps these two statements should be reconciled by someone with a little more knowledge on the matter?84.102.110.8 (talk) 12:12, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
- Interesting. The marker in the photograph does clearly state that; yet at least these two sources give the location as Fulton, Mississippi instead:
It's difficult to say at the moment what's correct, but I will do further research. It's possible the marker is wrong, but it's too early to say that right now. Omnedon (talk) 19:06, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
- This source talks about Fulton, Tennessee, and mentions the location in context with the Chickasaw war. Omnedon (talk) 19:19, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
