Claw is obviously not straight

The claw on a framing hammer is not straight. (Just look at the pictures.) It's curved much less than the claw on an ordinary claw hammer, so that's exactly how we should describe it.

If the less-curved claw is known as a "straight claw" by its users, we can say it in quotation marks like it's a nickname - but it's not OK to simply call curved things straight in an encyclopedia article. TooManyFingers (talk) 06:10, 7 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
