Artist name
[edit]Please note that all the sources we have refer to the name of the artist, at least at the time of release of the album, as Dltzk. A name change must be backed up by a source stating that they have changed names, since they are known to have multiple projects under different names. —C.Fred (talk) 14:14, 30 June 2022 (UTC)
- This article from Pitchfork mentions this name change (as well as this article's subject, Frailty). This other article from The Fader also does this. Twotwicetalk 01:24, 6 July 2022 (UTC)
- @Twotwice But the album was released under their previous name (this is stated in the pitchfork) article. It makes sense to mention the name change but I don't think we should change every instance of "dltzk" to "Jane Remover". — PerfectSoundWhatever (t; c) 01:58, 6 July 2022 (UTC)
- could we not just change some of them to just "jane" then? they've completely killed off the "dltzk" name, and are even releasing a new version of their EP teen week under the name jane remover after they make a couple changes. their whole spotify has changed as well. they've unlisted teen week on their bandcamp, however frailty has moved to the name "jane remover". the songs for teen week on their soundcloud account have been specifically tagged as "dltzk - Teen Week" however frailty has not had such a change. hope that helps. Saintfuki (talk) 16:03, 6 July 2022 (UTC)
- I added a line explaining the change in the lead, and an explanatory note. — PerfectSoundWhatever (t; c) 16:41, 6 July 2022 (UTC)
- dltzk references their deadname, so I think it should be changed. the status that Saintfuki linked kinda speaks for itself—we should honor the artist's wishes here. I reworded the explanatory note & replaced all the references to just "Jane". I don't know how to change the article's title beyond moving it (since the "(Jane Remover album)" page just links back to the "(Dltzk album)" page), but I think that should be done too. - It isn't a deadname. Their birth name was never "dltzk". It's just a pseudonym they no longer use. The Fader article puts it clearly: dltzk has officially changed their stage name to Jane Remover. I'm fine with changing mentions of "dltzk" in the prose to "remover" but I disagree with the article title being changed when the album was originally released under "dltzk", and is more notable being released under that name. — PerfectSoundWhatever (t; c) 01:23, 30 December 2022 (UTC)

"Critical acclaim"
[edit]@PerfectSoundWhatever: Since when is "critical acclaim" a "super common"
word that can be attributed to three review sentences? None of them verify or include the statement. Not even a Metascore ("universal acclaim") to back up that claim, just your personal preference. ภץאคгöร 06:39, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
- Again, I still disagree, but I think what I changed it to is a good compromise. (it's also just a more precise summary sentence) — PerfectSoundWhatever (t; c) 19:58, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
